Zero Waste Forum 2026
The Zero Waste Forum 2026 will take place from 5–7 June in Istanbul under the theme: “The Road to Antalya: Zero Waste as Climate Action.”
Convened by the Zero Waste Foundation under the leadership of Emine Erdoğan and the COP31 Climate High-Level Champion, the Forum is expected to gather more than 5,000 participants from over 150 countries and 500 institutions.

The Zero Waste Forum is a major checkpoint in 2026 to accelerate the Global Climate Action Agenda, proving that resource efficiency is essential for energy security, nature conservation, food systems, urban resilience, and social development.

Meeting with Partners of the Marrakech Partnership for Global Climate Action
On the margins of the Zero Waste Forum, the CHLCs for COP31 and COP30 are jointly convening members of the Marrakech Partnership ecosystem, including Activation Group Coordination members, Plans to Accelerate Solutions (PAS) leads, and initiative representatives, for an in-person strategic coordination session.
The session intends to serve as a Marrakech Partnership convening ahead of the SBs in Bonn, focused on strengthening delivery, coordination, and implementation across the Action Agenda.
