Race to Zero works with leading partners to help ensure non-State actors understand their carbon footprint, emission hotspots, and the necessary resourcing and skills to get started.

Once an entity has their emissions profile, they are then able to join the Race by pledging through a Race to Zero Partner initiative. This pledge requires an entity to commit at the head of organization level to reach net zero by 2050, and set an interim target for 2030.
