Marrakech Partnership is a framework for continued engagement of all actors involved in implementation of climate action.

Launched by the High-Level Champions at COP 22 and welcomed by Parties to the UNFCCC, the Marrakech Partnership is a framework for continued engagement of all actors involved in implementation of climate action.

Marrakech Partnership workstreams span land use, oceans and coastal zones, water, human settlements, transport, energy, industry, finance and resilience. Under the leadership of the High-Level Champions, the Marrakech Partnership supports the implementation of the Paris Agreement by driving ambition and enabling collaboration between national governments and non-State actorssuch as cities, regions, businesses, investors, and civil society including youth, Indigenous Peoples and local communitiesto act on climate change.
